A low porch projects from the façade of the church. A gable-shaped entrance area is clad in fibre-glass imitation copper, now oxidised green. In the centre, the cladding on a pair of wooden doors is moulded to represent the twelve apostles. The apostles are organised in four columns of three figures each. There are also symbols associated with the church, e.g. the papal keys and mitre, a scroll, a boat, a fish, a bible and the symbols of the four Evangelists. The dove symbolising the Holy Spirit fills the triangular space above the doors.
