FR FLOR LYNCH CSSP We regret to announce the death of Fr Flor Lynch CSSp who died peacefully in the Marian House, Kimmage, on 26 July 2010.Fr Flor was born in Kerry and was ordained to the priesthood on 12 July 1959. After many years on the Missions, he returned to Ireland and was appointed as curate to Greenhills Parish in 1980 and remained with us until 1990 when he was transferred to River Valley, Swords. In 1996 Fr Flor was transferred to St Philomena's Parish, Palmerstown. He retired as Parish Priest there in August 2009. Fr Flor started our Parish Lourdes Pilgrimages which has continued as a very important Annual Event in our Parish to this day, for which we thank Mary Gahan who has taken on the role as co ordinator of the Pilgrimage.We offer our deepest sympathies to Fr Flor's family, relatives, confreres and friends. May he rest in peace.
